Lifelong athlete Anthony Ferla boasts an extensive history of sports positions and participation. He laid the groundwork for his career as a three-year football captain and starting defensive back for the Temple University Owls. His senior year, the school had its first winning season in 19 years. Before college, Anthony Ferla took a job as an Assistant Physical Therapist with the SportsCare Institute, Inc., where he helped patients recover from their sports-related injuries.
In 2010, Anthony Ferla earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a Minor in Advertising from Temple. He joined the school’s football staff as an intern his final semester of college, moving on to Assistant Coach following graduation. In this role, Anthony Ferla supported the defensive backs coach in daily practices, administering drills for the team’s secondary. Other responsibilities included overseeing the scout team and drawing up offensive cards, as well as generating a weekly defensive backs video test.
Concurrent with this position, Anthony Ferla spends his time now working for a retail marketing company that handles major account launches and working with fortune 500 companies all across the country.
Anthony Ferla gives a great portion of his time to community service. Among his contributions are tutoring , hosting camps at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and motivating youth to overcome their hurdles to attend college. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and swimming.
